UUPCC Travel Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable $150 registration fee is due at registration. This fee will hold your place on the trip and trigger a one year membership in the UUPCC. Please do NOT purchase airfare until we confirm that the minimum number of travelers for your trip has been achieved.
The final payment due date will be approximately 2 -3 weeks after the registration period closes and final payment emails are sent out. The total trip fee must be paid before the payment due date, or UUPCC retains the right to cancel your registration.
If you cancel up to 60 days prior to the start of the pilgrimage, your entire payment will be refunded, (less registration fee and any non-recoverable transportation costs).
If you cancel 60 - 30 days prior to the start of the pilgrimage, you will receive a 50% refund of your total payment (less registration fee and any non-recoverable transportation costs).
If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the start of the pilgrimage, NO REFUND will be issued.
INDIA TRAVELERS: because we must pay deposits and fees earlier for our Indian trip extensions, if you cancel an Indian extension 120-90 days prior to start of the trip we will refund 50% (less the registration fee). If you cancel an Indian extension less than 90 days prior, no refund will be given.
Travel Insurance: We strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance that includes trip cancelation insurance as well as medical evacuation insurance. There are many companies that offer this insurance such as Travel Guard and TravelSafe. Before purchasing, use a web-based service such as squaremouth.com or insurermytrip.com to read reviews and compare plans.
